Limited Palette & Flat Brush Watercolour Technique ~ Join Jane as she demonstrates using a limited palette with a flat brush to achieve an impressionist watercolour technique. She will be painting an architectural image and explaining the importance of light, shadow and the use of complementary colours. Joseph Wu

Incorporating Origami Into Your Artwork ~ Joseph will be demonstrating some basic origami techniques, showing how simple patterns can be incorporated into other projects as well as discussing the uses of various papers. His work has been featured in worldwide exhibitions, magazines, newspapers and animated television commercials. Frank Townsley
Langley, Saturday, July 19th 2pm-4pm
Atmospheric Techniques ~ Frank will be sharing some of his techniques when painting skies, clouds, birch and aspen trees, fog, mist waves, and also share a few tricks to remedy errors that often occur in your painting endeavours. Frank received his art training at the Art Center, College of Design in California. He teaches both watercolour painting and photography throughout the lower mainland.
This month, we also have several product demonstrations scheduled—a great way to learn more about your materials and learn some new techniques! So come on by ... we would love to see you.
