Traditional & Experimental Techniques in Acrylic Painting ~ Join Lori and watch her demonstrate up to 20 different traditional and experimental acrylic techniques including blending from one colour to another, collage, photo transfers and imprinting objects to create patterns and textures. Eraser Drawing ~ Join Glenn as he uses powdered graphite and erasers to draw using a subtractive method. He will be using a full range of pencils, hard and soft erasers to draw tonally with edges only, without using line. In the early 1970's, Glenn was an arts writer working for two Canadian newspapers. Special Effects on Rice Paper ~ Becky will share her painting techniques on rice paper: painting on both sides of the paper, crumpling, using alum water as a resist and glue. She will demonstrate mounting paintings as well. Becky both shows and sells her work across Canada and is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
