The Encampment is a large-scale public participatory art installation that incorporates seventy 19th century expeditionary tents erected in a geometric grid on Major's Hill Park in Ottawa. Art Practice Workshop, Wells, July 19th to 27th
Come and spend 8 days in Wells, BC from Saturday, July 19th until Sunday, July 27th painting in the Island Mountain Arts Studio with David Alexander and Peter Von Tiesenhausen. This is a forum for artists to explore and develop their ideas in relation to visual arts practice. The cost of this workshop is $882 including taxes, or can be shortened to 4 days from July 19th - 22nd for $451.50 including taxes. Analogue Digital Workshop, Vancouver, July 13th
The Alliance for Arts + Culture in Vancouver, BC presents Analogue Digital Workshop for all visual artists who use traditional art forms and would like to expand the media they work in including conceptual and formal concerns, skills and software, and many more. The Denman Island Arts Centre on Denman Island, BC presents Care of a Bricoleur workshop with Ken Flett on Saturday July 26th and Sunday July 27th from 9:30am-3:30pm. A bricoleur is a person who creates things from scratch, is creative and resourceful: a person who collects information and things and then puts them together in a way that they were not originally designed to be. Needed - Osmiroid Ink
NEEDED: New or Old bottles of Osmiroid Free-flowing Ink. It is no longer sold and I need black, brown, blue and green. Am happy to pay a good price for even dried-up containers.
