Painting the Canadian Wilderness in Oils ~ Murray will be demonstrating his techniques to capture the beauty of nature via plein air painting.

Joan Fraser

Playing with Yupo ~ Joan will demonstrate watercolour floral painting on Yupo paper. Joan loves using Yupo paper because it is made of 100% polypropolene, and paint can be easily wiped off, allowing for highlights or to correct errors with ease. This is a perfect paper for beginners to try because of these capabilities. Joan will also be displaying some finished works.

Debra Gow

Using Watercolour Canvas with Mixed Media ~ Debra will demonstrate how to prime canvases using Golden White Absorbent Ground, which tools to use, and other additional materials. She will present one finished and one nearly finished painting to show the final results of these techniques.

It's Not Easy Being Green ~ Lori will demonstrate how to create a range of expressive greens to make your landscape or still life paintings more interesting, as well as other colour combinations.
Lori has been painting, exhibiting, and teaching for over 15 years in New York, Boston, Edmonton, and Vancouver. She has studied privately and at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
