FANS Night Event

With a thirteen year legacy, the Fund for the Arts on the North Shore's FANS Night Event has honoured the wealth of internationally recognized artistic talent in our community by presenting twenty one deserving individuals with the prestigious FANS Recognition Award. This year's deserving honouree is the gifted actor, writer and director, Jay Brazeau who is performing in Goat, or who is Sylvia, until November 10th at Presentation House Theatre.
Each year as well, the Don S. Williams Award – a cash Award generated by the investment income of the FANS Fund – is given to North Shore artists to assist them in the furthering of their chosen artistic endeavours. This year there are two recipients of $1,500, painter Lil Chrzan and the AUGUST Music Group.
Hosted by the Comedy Company the FANS Night Event is planned for Sunday, November 4th, 7:30 pm, at Hamersley House in North Vancouver. As well as award presentations, guests can expect delicacies by Tour de Feast Catering, a silent auction, prizes and performances in a magnificent heritage setting.
