Basics of Acrylic Painting ~ Join Lori and watch her demonstrate up to 20 different traditional and experimental acrylic techniques including blending, collage, photo transfers, imprinting and more.

Dianna Ponting

Painting with Pastels ~ Known for her realistic style, Dianna will reveal the methods, tools and tricks she employs. She will demonstrate how to create a still life in soft pastels with a minimum amount of work.

Tips for Illustrating Children’s Books ~ Join Ruth as she shares her experiences and samples as an illustrator of children’s books. Topics include working with an editor, publisher, contracts, and the process of illustrating.

Joanne Thomson

Colour mixing and wash techniques ~ Joanne will demonstrate how to get rich blended colours using watercolour pigments on paper. She will also work on two watercolour paintings and talk about colour mixing, composition, and the versatility of watercolours.
