Moving into Spring, Opus presents more of our popular Artist Series. Learn from your fellow artists, refine your skills, gain new techniques or just feel inspired.
Last month we had a great artist demo by Suzanne Sommersgill at Granville Island where she demonstrated how much fun you can have with block printing. A special 8 year old young lady named Maren attended the demo and took very careful notes, and once home created a block print using techniques she had learned. This is Maren's first print (pictured left). She started by painting the box with acrylic paint, then drew the girl and traced her onto tracing paper, then her mom helped her carve the stamp.

This session will focus on how digital software can be used to bring these subtle aspects of experience forward rather than on the technical aspects of the software.
