The City of North Vancouver's Public Art Program invites North Vancouver students to participate in "Imagine Our Future" art contest. Students are asked to submit a black and white drawing, as per template provided, that suggests their idea or vision of what the city of North Vancouver will look like in the future. The Coupeville Arts Center on Whidbey Island presents Ned Mueller and his workshop on "Making Your Paintings Work" from Monday, April 16th to Friday, April 20th. This workshop at Gallery Vertigo, #1 3001 ’Äì 31st Street, Vernon, will involve a positive/negative exploration using the paper cut-out techniques of Henri Matisse.
