Interested in Matting your own artwork?
Come and join John Sadler from Logan as he demonstrates how to cut a single, double and oval mat to emphasize your artwork using logan matuctting tools such as the 301, 450 and 750. This is a hands-on demonstration and questions are welcome. Not sure how much border to add to your double or triple mat? John will aid you by using simple math calculations. John will also demonstrate how to use the Art Deckle tools to embellish watercolour and other fine art papers. Find out how to get the most out of your 32" x 40" sheet of matboard!
This event is free of charge, so come early and learn plenty.

Frank Townsley

Common Errors with Watercolours ~ Join Frank as he shows how to correct common errors made by beginner and experienced watercolourists. Learn how to remedy mistakes in washes, backruns, softening hard edges and more.
Frank studied landscape watercolour painting at the Art Center, College of Design in Los Angeles. In 1979, he was admitted into the Federation of Canadian Artists. He teaches both painting and photography in Vancouver.
Andrew McDermott

Using Traditinal Pastels ~ Watch Andrew create a city scene using layers of Schmincke pastels and black Colourfix Pastel Paper as his base. He will explain the importance of spray fixing pastel paintings.
