Opus' 7th Annual Christmas Donation

This holiday season, Opus is continuing our company-wide tradition of fundraising for local community groups. We encourage you to help by making a donation next time you stop by. We will match your donation, dollar for dollar, for each community group we're raising funds for. Stop by your local Opus and help brighten someone else's holiday season!

Opus Victoria is supporting Pandora Arts Collective

Pandora Arts is a non-profit organization composed of a collection of artists dedicated to creating art. They operates a safe, friendly and affordable studio space, and offer materials, training, and support.

They are open to anyone interested in exploring their creative potential, regardless of ability or experience. They support the benefits of a sociable art alliance, with the goal of community through mutual support.

Opus Kelowna is supporting CMHA's ArtWorks Studio

The Canadian Mental Health Association's (CMHA) mission is to promote the mental health of all and to support the resilience and recovery of people with mental illness through advocacy, education, research and service. ArtWorks Studio is a community-based expressive arts program committed to providing opportunities for personal growth through creative expression for those experiencing a wide range of mental illness.

Opus North Van is supporting Evergreen House's Art Group

Evergreen House is an Extended Care Facility at Lions Gate Hospital. In early 2006, Ruth Payne, the Visual Artist Coordinator at the Ferry Building Gallery, learned that there was no opportunity for residents with a previous interest in painting to return to that pursuit. With the help of volunteers, a group was put together and now approximately ten residents are once again painting as a result.

Opus Granville Island is supporting Directions Youth Services

Directions Youth Services Centre provides Vancouver's youth who are homeless or living in at-risk situations with tools, support, and guidance to make healthy, positive changes in their lives.

Directions helps youth take the next steps with their lives by providing resources and support. They offer a safe place off the streets to engage youth in educational, recreational, and artistic programs.

Opus Langley is supporting The Langley Food Bank

The food bank's aim is to provide nutritious food to approximately 550 registered families. In addition to providing food, they also work to develop relational bridges with clients to discover how they may be able to assist with other needs, whether they are physical, social, or spiritual in nature.

If you are interested in donating food items, the elves at Opus Langley will be collecting both money and food donations.
