For the past several years, Opus has been increasing our focus on digital art papers in response to increased customer requests. We’ve heard from photographers, new media artists, and traditional artists who are looking for ways to reproduce their work.
While the world of digital media has been growing and changing enormously during that time, we have managed to find our way through all the possibilities and believe we are offering the best selection to meet your digital print needs.
As a result, much like all our other art products, we believe that providing both quality and economy in our selection is important. That is why you will find that we generally have three levels of products throughout our selection: professional, amateur and student grade. Each provide options that are best suited to your personal preference.
This approach is the exact same for the digital papers we stock. Depending on your preference, and the degree of archival protection and longevity you require, you can find a paper at Opus which suits your specific needs or the project at hand. This month we are happy to introduce our premier line of papers, Hahnemühle. This is an excellent choice if you are seeking professional-quality digital papers.
The ArtLine papers have been developed specially for reproducing works of art. Now you can create multiples of the paintings you have made with watercolours, pastels, acrylic or oil paints. The ingredients and structure of the ArtLine papers perfectly match the properties of Hahnemühle’s traditional artistic papers. Therefore, reproductions of artworks can be printed on the same type of paper as the original.
