    Artists are invited to participate in Port Moody's Artists in the Park program, intended to enhance a visit to the park through the presence of artists at work. This is an opportunity for artists to display, sell and work in Port Moody parks. Artists are encouraged to attend parks during park hours (7:00am-10:00pm) any day of the week.     The Vancouver School

    The Vancouver School is a collaborative sculptural installation created by five well-known Canadian artists: Douglas Coupland, Graham Gillmore, Angela Grossmann, Attila Richard Lukacs and Derek Root. The quintet are converting a former North Vancouver elementary school gymnasium into an elaborate meditation on the links between schools, the human body, mass culture and the rituals and spaces that mold a person's sense of self.     Bella Coola Community Art Gallery

    This gallery is new and open to the public all year long. Dedicated to showing local artistic talent and is the only full-time art gallery within a radius of 300 miles of Bella Coola BC. During the month of April a show of religious art will be on display in the form of funky Renaissance style paintings.     Painter's Retreat

    Artists are invited to this May- Long Weekend Painting retreat held Friday May 19th to Monday May 22nd at Camp Arbuckle in Winfield BC. The camp is located on the shores of the Okanagan Lake.     The Chilliwack Artists Association

    Artists are invited to submit slides; CD's or prints of recent art work in any medium for consideration in the 2007 exhibition year. Exhibition space is available at the Chilliwack Arts Centre in the Artists Gallery on Henderson Avenue, and at the Chilliwack City Hall Gallery on Young Road.     The EARTH Project

    Groups and organizations are invited to submit proposals for Earth: The World Urban Festival, which will be held Wednesday June 21st to Sunday June 25th, 2006. This event is about the earth and everyone who calls this planet home, providing a platform for engagement on key global issues. Attendees to this festival will have an opportunity to see the world through the eyes and voices of people from around the globe. Submissions for interactive activities to engage and educate the public and youth in particular about "on the ground" ways to take action and make communities more sustainable and participatory are being accepted.
