"Wherever you go, whatever you do, remember you are the Queen Goddess of the universe. In other words, use your feeling bad about yourself to make more art. The rest of the time, have no reservations about self-appreciation." ~Allisa Bennett

1: Get an identifier, it doesn't have to ba a "logo" proper. It can be your initials, a copy of how you sign your paintings, or maybe even a small tiny picture of one of your paintings.

2: Take your identifier and put it on all your stuff. (OK, not rocket surgery- still just regular identifier stuff.) But don't only put it on a letterhead, put it on your art luggage and other stuff that you bring with you to workshops and other events.

3: Put your identifier on a pin or funky piece of jewelry and wear this in places where you have a sympathetic audience. Even if you are not the event's main attraction, people will be curious and ask you about what you are wearing. A real conversation starter that gives you an opening to shamelessly promote yourself. ~Sylvia Graham, Packrat Creative
