My favourite medium to work in is Anything fibrous.

If I had a free lifetime supply of one art supply I'd be bummed because I like and want 'em all! Even the ones I don't use that often.

Critics would describe my work as sporadic!

While I work I listen to classical music, early jazz, pop/rock, the TV (weaving requires that you watch what you're doing!) as the mood strikes.

If I could share my studio or take lessons with any Canadian Artist it would be any of the anonymous fibre craft workers of the 18th and 19th centuries. Bet I'd learn a lot about just damn well getting it done!

If I could be part of any art movement it would be the Bauhaus school (they actually had female fibre artists!).

The book next to (and in) my bed are a stack of fibre arts magazines, a number of paperback mysteries, the latest Harry Potter, and one or two 19th Century novels. And a similar bunch of reading material is in my bed!
