Framing Solutions at Opus: Logan Framing Tools

Take the presentation of your art to the next level! Even the best framer can't always predict what you want or need to show your artwork at its best. By doing your own framing, you get to be in total creative control from the type of frame to the colour of the mat. You get to choose the materials that best suit your needs and your artwork with the perfect frame and mat combination. Because when it comes to your art, you are the expert. So why not create professional quality frames in your own studio?

Do you have an upcoming exhibition? Is your artwork unframed and tucked away? Create uniform frames for your art works in less time and on your own schedule. Frame those forgotten artworks and give them away to friends and family. Or, treat your own eyes and put your newly-framed artwork around your home and studio. Framing your artwork is a gratifying reminder of all of your hard work and artistic genius and also ensures your artwork is protected for the future.

Not only do you get total creative control from the first creative flash to your final choice in matting and moulding, but you also save money by doing-it-yourself. Investing in quality framing tools will pay off in a very short period of time.

Who better to frame your artwork than yourself?

When you have worked intimately on an art piece, taking an idea, developing it, pushing it and then pushing it some more, from start to finish, it?s only natural that you will have a personal investment in it. If you are a professional artist and you make your living from creating, then what you have invested in your art work is very high indeed. The sales from your labours puts food on your table, pays your bills and adds to your art supply inventory. Your art is important and so is its presentation. Why not take the extra step of framing your artwork? You know what has gone into each piece, and you know what will look best when framing it.

One of the first steps is to pick out the type of moulding you want for your frame. All the mouldings you see on our framing walls are available in footage so that you can be in control of your frame size. What is footage? Footage refers to the frame moulding as one large piece of uncut moulding. With our large selection of wooden moulding footage and the new Logan framing tools, you can create and design the perfect size frame for your artwork.

Our variety of Logan framing tools are artist-friendly and available for a variety of skill and interest levels from the beginning art student to the professional artist.

Logan has two different joining tools to suit your needs: the Studio Joiner and the Pro Joiner. With a magnetic nail holder and a quick depth adjustment, the Studio Joiner makes joining frames accurate and simple. For the prolific framer, the Pro Joiner unites frames faster than the Studio Joiner with its adjustable nail spacing guide and quick adjust corner clamp.

Finish
With its rotating head design, the Logan Fitting Tool drives and removes four different inserts into the frame to hold materials in place. With no guess work or skill required, this tool completes your framing job.
