Stewart Turcotte, owner of Hambleton Galleries in Kelowna, is involved with an important project to collect donated artworks which can then be passed on to the victims of this past summer's fires in Kelowna, Barriere, and Lewis Creek, BC. With these tragic fires many homes, possessions and art collections were lost. This project was originally conceived of by Isabelle Prenat, an artist living in Victoria and was endorsed by Robert Genn, who kicked off the project with a donation and mention in his newsletter. They all believe that donations of artwork will go a long way to help rekindling the spirits of those affected by the fires. For details visit
http://hambletongalleries.com, email info@hambletongalleries.com or call Stewart Turcotte at 250-860-2498.
