The Mighty Masquepen

This new tool is the answer to the prayers of many an artist who works in fine detail. It is an excellent tool for the temporary masking of thin lines when rendering lead vein details in close-up images or tree branches in landscapes. It is also possible to write with it as though it were a pen.

The cover is furnished with a stainless steel prong to prevent clogs in the narrow tube. The Super Nib is an accessory that fits over the regular Masquepen, and with this it is possible to achieve even greater fineness and precision of detail. The Super Nib Masquepen comes with cleaners to maintain proper performance. The masking fluid is a light blue-grey with a .8 mm nylon nib. No more frustration, no more ruined brushes, just a lot of masking joy!

This masking fluid is best left on watercolour paper just long enough to do its job. Test on scraps of your favourite papers to see what length of time works best with your painting technique.
