This summer, the VAG is presenting Drawing The World: Masters to Hipsters, a suite of five collections, representing drawing from many cultural traditions, from east to west, north to south and from the sixteenth century to today. In addition, the Pacific Centre is hosting a Drawing Your World Summer Contest starting June 28th. We want you to draw your world - your outer world, your inner world, any world as long as it's yours!

By submitting your drawing to Guest Services, located adjacent to Holt Renfrew on the lower level at Pacific Centre, adults 18 years of age or older can enter to win the Grand Prize, a trip for two to the Centre Estival des Arts de Montaigut-le-Blanc in France. For 23 years the Centre has presented workshops to adults as part of Capilano College's Continuing Education Program.

Grand prize includes air and transportation from Vancouver to the Centre, accommodation, most meals, art courses and four excursions while at the Centre. The prize must be redeemed for the July 11th - 29th, 2004. Grand Prize value: $10,000. Opus will also present a Deluxe Drawing Studio Package worth over $550 as the second prize. The winners will be drawn at random from all of the drawing entries received.
