This fundraiser brought together Okanagan artists and corporate sponsors in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Twenty renowned local artists donated works which were presented to the winners. The winners were eligible by making a minimum $25.00 donation to the cause. Local childrens' art also featured at the event, was presented to key supporters. The kids art is also now being reproduced as greeting cards available for sale through the Big Brothers Big Sisters Kelowna office.

Among all the celebrities, supporters and volunteers, Opus was proud to play a significant role in the success of the fundraising efforts. Among other things Wanda Lock, Manager of our Kelowna store, assisted in locating and co-ordinating the donating artists. Wanda, who has worked with children and youth, believes that mentorship plays an important role in childrens' lives. Each artist received a package with honorarium in exchange for their participation. The art works were shown publicly beforehand in an exhibition that toured the Okanagan. This concerted effort raised $28,000 to assist Big Brothers Big Sisters in expanding their programming to include children on their waitlist.
