Achieving Nature in Paintings with Frank Townsley

Frank will discuss and show techniques for creating clouds, birch trees, mountains, logs, fog and mist, water droplets and of course, Arbutus trees. Frank studied landscape watercolour painting in LA at the Art Center, College of Design, and was admitted into the Federation of Canadian Artists in 1979. In addition to his own painting, he teaches painting and photography at school boards, senior centers, and private clubs throughout Vancouver and Vancouver Island.
