Hidden art

We like this story: In Richard Brereton's Sketchbooks: The Hidden Art of Designers, Illustrators and Creatives, commercial artist and graphic designer Ed Fella confides, “in 1976 an artist friend gave me a sketchbook, saying ‘Even though you're a designer, you think like an artist and should keep a sketchbook.’"

Recently some of our stores started keeping a shared sketchbook in their lunchrooms for daytime doodling too. We kept hearing the inspiring stories of all the creative stuff they were doing. It prompted us to start one in our own lunchroom here at our admin office. Gotta love doodles, especially when you work for an art supply company!
