Opus’ warehouse is the dynamic hub of the company — the central location where we receive products from around the world and then send them out to our five stores, to schools, to businesses and our mail order customers across the country. It is a fast-paced environment where common sense and being open to learning new things is a daily requirement. This is definitely a good place to be if you like to get a daily cardio workout and take pride in doing things right.

The warehouse is easily accessible by transit as it is located just a short walk from the Skytrain station at Rupert and Broadway in Vancouver. Travel by car or bike is also very convenient because this centralized location is close to almost all direct routes in and out of Vancouver. We are also proud to say that our warehouse is somewhere where artists and non-artists, women and men, and people of all ages work together. We are currently looking for entry level staff for full-time positions, working daytime Monday through Friday. This position requires some heavy lifting, at times up to 70lbs. Previous forklift experience would be an asset, but is not required. You should be able to work well in a team and also be able to manage your workload independently.

General Duties Include:

• Pulling stock for all stores, mail order and customer pick-ups
• Receiving shipments and unloading containers
• Restocking and counting warehouse products
• Packaging papers and other products
• Day-to-day operations of the warehouse

The entry-level wage is $10.25 per hour for 40 hours per week. After successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, staff also receive another wage adjustment and participation in other benefits including product discounts, access to medical and dental benefits and a monthly sales incentive bonus based on company performance.
