2nd Annual Langley Artists' Studio Tour

Langley artists are opening their studios to warmly welcome visitors on the third and fourth weekends in September. At many studios you will find both the host artist and one or more guest artists who are sharing this opportunity to display their art and discuss their artistic process. New this year, free 30-minute mini workshops and demos are being offered at a number of the studios. Find details about the tour, including the studio map and workshop schedule, on the tour website at www.langleyartstudiotour.ca or pick up a brochure at public venues in Langley City and Township. Come enjoy the fall countryside and get to know Langley through its talented artists!

Sixth Annual James Bay Art Walk 2010

The 6th Annual James Bay Art Walk will be held the weekend of September 11th and 12th 2010, from 11am to 5pm. Nineteen artists will open their studios to the public, showcasing and selling their work. There will be nationally and locally-known painters, potters, photographers, and crafters of wood and plant material. Check www.jamesbayartwalk.ca for a map and more information.

Art Visions 2010 - Opening Reception and Gallery Walk - All are invited!

Art Visions is Back! Come and celebrate the return of the annual ArtVision show, Artvisions 2010 to Kelowna, BC. This years Opening ceremonies and artist receptions will be October 7, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM, starting at the Rotary Center for The Arts(Cawston Avenue). The Awards/prize presentations is immediately followed by a wonderful evening stroll through four of Kelowna's finest galleries who are host to this year's show, Hambleton Galleries, Gallery 421, Turtle Island Gallery and Evans Gallery. Building on the success of last year's tour, we are again showcasing artists' studios in Langley. Participating artists will open their studios to visitors who will follow a guide-map.
