The Republic to End Poverty Art Show and Fundraiser

Bringing together a collection of established artists and organizations reaching marginalized individuals through art, “The Republic to End Poverty - Art Show and Fundraiser” is a unique summer event.

National anti-poverty organization and charity, Canada Without Poverty has partnered with Vancouver art organization MAB Ventures Inc. to organize the show on Thursday, August 19th, 2010 at Republic nightclub in downtown Vancouver. Powell River Studio Tour

The 6th annual Powell River Studio Tour takes place August 28 and 29, 10AM-6PM both days. This free self guiding tour spans from Lund to Saltery Bay including Powell River on the upper Sunshine Coast. There are 22 artists plus one artist co op at 20 locations. It is advisable to take the two days for the tour to visit as many of the studios due to the distance of the tour.
